33/ Industry Chamber signs contracts with 13 firms under digital transformation program

Amman, April 20 (Petra) -- The Amman Chamber of Industry on Monday signed contracts with 13 industrial companies under the second cycle of its advisory services program, part of the "Empowering SMEs through Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies" project.

The companies were selected on a competitive basis by an evaluation committee, according to a chamber statement.

The program is designed to enhance the competitiveness of Jordan’s industrial sector by directly supporting companies in digital transformation and adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution applications, commented Board member Majdi Hashlamon.

The initiative, he said, is the first of its kind to assess companies’ readiness for digital transformation using internationally recognized tools, enabling the development of tailored roadmaps for each firm.

These cover technical priorities, transformation requirements, and economic feasibility, aligned with each company’s needs, and aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and fostering innovation.

Jordan Industry 4.0 and Digitalization Innovation Center (INJO4.0) Chairman Samir Ayasrah highlighted the importance of digital transformation in boosting industrial productivity and competitiveness through the adoption of advanced solutions and technologies.

The project supports the goals of the Economic Modernization Vision by advancing industrial digital transformation, creating quality jobs, and building a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable industrial sector.
