Aqaba, April 21 (Petra) -- Ayla Oasis Development Company announced on Tuesday it has obtained the ISO 27001 certification for information security management, marking a significant step in strengthening data protection and enhancing the reliability of its digital services in line with international standards.

The certification aligns with Ayla’s digital transformation strategy, under which the company continues to upgrade its technological infrastructure to deliver secure and advanced services, while reinforcing governance and efficient information management across its operations.

ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard for information security management systems (ISMS), focusing on ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. It encompasses risk management, access control, asset protection, incident response, and business continuity. The certification also reflects the company’s commitment to continuous improvement through regular internal and external audits.

Managing Director at Ayla Oasis Development, Sahl Dudinţ, said the achievement underscores the company’s firm commitment to safeguarding information and adopting global best practices in cybersecurity.

He added that Ayla has established a clear governance framework for its ISMS and developed policies and controls covering risk management, access control, authorization reviews, and incident response to ensure business continuity and service reliability.

Dudin noted that secure digital transformation begins with strong institutional awareness, emphasizing the company’s focus on training, awareness, and continuous improvement to maintain compliance and meet stakeholder expectations.

Ayla said the certification represents a key milestone in advancing its digital services and enhancing customer experience through a balanced approach that integrates innovation, governance, and security, adding that it will continue to review and update its information security controls to keep pace with evolving technological challenges and ensure sustained compliance and high levels of reliability.
