Amman, April 25 (Petra) – Jordan Industrial Estates Company (JIEC) Uday Obeidat said on Saturday that security bodies and the civil defense are key partners for investment in industrial cities, highlighting round-the-clock efforts to protect lives and property and enhance an investor-friendly environment.

Obeidat stressed the readiness, efficiency, and promptness of security agencies in Irbid Governorate, Ramtha District, and administrative authorities in handling a recent fire at a factory in Al-Hassan Industrial Estate.

From the outset, the company and the management of Al-Hassan Industrial Estate were in close coordination with relevant authorities and the administrative government to minimize the fire's impact and protect lives and property, he pointed out.

He also cited procedures in industrial estates to maintain occupational health and safety, stressing that the company endeavors to ensure the preparedness of industrial companies to enforce public safety standard as the first line of defense in reducing damage from fires or accidents.
