Amman, April 29 (Petra) -- Emergency crews from the Mafraq Civil Defense Directorate moved swiftly to contain a fire that broke out at a tire manufacturing facility in the governorate’s development zone.

The Public Security Directorate said firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading beyond the site, limiting potential damage. One worker sustained burn injuries in the incident and received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transferred to Mafraq Government Hospital for further treatment.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
