Amman, August 16 (Petra) - The Jordan Cooperative Corporation (JCC) signed a cooperation agreement with the Italian Habibi Valtiberina Association on Sunday to boost training, capacity building, and knowledge sharing within the cooperative sector.

The partnership, signed by JCC Director-General Abdelfattah Shalabi and the association's President Mario Cornioli, aims to enhance skill development, foster cooperative culture, and drive sustainable socio-economic growth.

Under the agreement, both sides will deliver joint training programs and workshops while boosting networking opportunities with local and international partners.

Shalabi noted the agreement’s role in advancing organizational modernization, particularly for the Vocational Training Corporation established under the 2025 Cooperative Law to upskill staff and cooperative members.

Cornioli said that Habibi Valtiberina Association seeks to support Jordanian cooperatives by sharing expertise and drawing on Italy's experience in cooperative management.
