Amman, Aug. 16 (Petra) -- Pope Leo XIV renewed his call on Sunday for an end to violence against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank. He urged the international community to work toward achieving a two-state solution to secure a just and lasting peace. Speaking following the recitation of the Angelus prayer at his summer residence in Castel Gandolfo, the pontiff said he was reiterating his appeal for a halt to repeated acts of violence targeting Palestinian civilians in the territory.
