41/ Jordan, Australia discuss boosting climate cooperation
Amman, Aug. 26 (Petra) - Environment Minister Aiman Soleiman and Australian Ambassador to Jordan Paula Ganly met on Wednesday to explore expanding cooperation in environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable development. Soleiman noted the Kingdom's priorities, including the green and circular economy, climate adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable waste management, pushing to leverage Australian expertise in these fields. The officials discussed drafting a memorandum of understanding to institutionalize cooperation, facilitate knowledge exchange, and advance joint projects in alignment with the sustainable environment driver of Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision.
