Amman, August 26 (Petra) – The death toll from the Israeli offensive on Gaza has risen to 73,438, with 174,447 others wounded, since the start of the Israeli war on October 7, 2023, medical sources in Gaza said Wednesday.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the sources said hospitals in the Gaza Strip received seven bodies over the past 24 hours, including five newly killed and two who succumbed to their injuries, in addition to 10 wounded.

They added that the total number of Palestinians Israeli forces killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,303, while the number of wounded reached 4,336. A total of 814 bodies have been recovered.

The sources noted that several victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams continue to face difficulties reaching and recovering them.
