Amman, Aug 31 (Petra) -- The death toll from Israel's ongoing war on the Gaza strip has climbed to 73,456, with 174,496 people wounded since the aggression began on Oct. 7, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Monday.

Gaza hospitals received two dead bodies and 10 injured people in the past 24 hours, it said in a statement.

It said the death toll since a ceasefire was announced on November 11, 2025, has risen to 1,320 plus 815 bodies recovered, and the total number of injuries reached 4,385.

The ministry said a number of victims remained trapped under rubble and on roads, as ambulance and rescue crews were unable to reach them.
