Amman, Aug. 31 (Petra) -- The national esports team continued preparations for the 20th Asian Games, scheduled to take place in Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4.

Jordan will compete in four esports titles. Saif Dababneh will represent the Kingdom in eFootball and Wissam Owaisat will compete in eFootball Mobile.

The PUBG Mobile roster includes Laith Mheidat, Mohammad Adasi, Omar Deeb, Omar Saif, and Haitham Masri, under coach Tareq Khatatneh.

Jordan will also compete in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, represented by Moayad Abdullah, Mohammad Wahdani, Huthaifa Abu Abta, Tharaa Marzouq, Yazan Sawaris, and Mahmoud Ali, with Ahmad Zaghloul as coach.

National esports teams director Marwan Abu Ghosh noted that preparations are proceeding according to schedule as players work to improve their readiness ahead of the competition.

He added that the team aims to secure Jordan’s first esports medal in its Asian Games participation, while acknowledging the level of competition expected from leading teams and players across Asia.
