Amman, Feb. 1 (Petra) -- An Iraqi military delegation, led by National Defense University Maj. Gen. Aqeel Mustafa Mahdi Al-Ramah, head of the Iraqi Defense University for Military Studies, on Sunday visited Royal Jordanian National Defense College (RJNDC), in the presence of the college commander and senior faculty members.

According to a RJNDC statement, the visit aimed to strengthen joint military cooperation and knowledge exchange between the Jordanian and Iraqi armed forces.

The delegation was briefed on the college’s history, objectives, academic programs, and its national mission of developing qualified military personnel.

The delegates toured the college's classrooms and training centers and were briefed on its facilities firsthand.

Praising the high professional and training standards provided to cadets, the Iraqi delegation highlighted the advanced military expertise offered in accordance with relevant national criteria.

Additionally, they noted importance of such visits in fostering "strategic" partnerships and exchanging military knowledge between the two countries’ armed forces, which would benefit mutual capabilities and enhance national military competence.
