Amman, Feb. 7 (Petra) – Temperatures will drop slightly Saturday, and relatively cool weather is forecast over the mountainous areas and plains, while it will be pleasant in other regions.

A slight chance of light rain showers is expected in the Kingdom's far eastern areas for a short period. Winds will be westerly and moderate, which will often become active and stir up dust, mainly in the desert regions.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures will rise slightly Sunday and pleasant weather will prevail in most areas, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

On Monday, temperatures will drop slightly but remain above their seasonal average, as the weather will substantially remain stable.

Saturday's maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman will range between 18- 7 degrees Celsius, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 26C, sliding to 15C at night.
