Amman, Feb 9 (Petra) - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said specialized teams from the East Irbid Civil Defense Directorate, supported by an international search and rescue team, responded on Monday evening to a report received by the Operations and Control Directorate about two individuals trapped in a cave collapse on the Huwara road in Irbid governorate.

One of the individuals sustained a foot injury, while the other was trapped under debris. Rescue teams exerted significant efforts to free the person, who was found with multiple injuries. Both received necessary first aid and were transported to the hospital for further treatment. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
