27/ Commerce Chamber Partakes in Global Entrepreneurship Investment Forum
Amman, Feb. 11 (Petra) -- The Jordan Chamber of Commerce took part in the sixth edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Investment Forum 2026, held in Manama, Bahrain. The forum brought together policymakers, entrepreneurs, and investors from around the world to exchange experiences and best practices in investment, entrepreneurship, and innovation. It was organized by United Nations Industrial Development Organization - Investment Technology Promotion Office (UNIDO-ITPO) in Bahrain, in partnership with the Arab League, the Bahrain Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Union of Arab Chambers, and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Second Vice Chairperson of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Firas Sultan, emphasized the vital role of entrepreneurship and innovation in achieving sustainable development. He said the forum is as a leading international platform connecting decision-makers, investors, and entrepreneurs globally. Sultan highlighted the Chamber’s commitment to strengthening public-private partnerships, supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and fostering youth-led innovation. He added that Jordan offers an attractive investment environment and is keen to share knowledge and experiences with regional and international partners to support sustainable development and enhance the Kingdom’s position on the entrepreneurship and investment map. Sultan noted that the Chamber’s participation reflects ongoing efforts to promote international cooperation, support Jordanian youth, and empower entrepreneurship to advance sustainable economic growth in line with global best practices. //Petra// NQ
