Amman, Feb. 11 (Petra) -- The army on Tuesday thwarted an attempt to smuggle narcotics using a drone along its northern front within its area of responsibility.

Border Guard Forces detected an unmanned aerial vehicle and brought it down inside Jordanian territory.

The seized materials were handed over to the relevant authorities.
