Ramallah, February 11 (Petra) – Israeli settler attacks on the village of Deir al-Dik, west of Jericho in the occupied West Bank, have forced 15 Palestinian families to flee their homes amid Israeli land-leveling operations in the surrounding area. Palestinian sources reported that the families, who reside in the "Astih" area, left under threats from settlers who leveled nearby lands in an effort to prevent residents from accessing and using them. In a related development, Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide-scale campaign of raids and incursions across several areas of the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. According to a statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Club, 25 Palestinians were arrested, including former detainees. Dozens of settlers stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque compound through the Mughrabi Gate under heavy protection from Israeli police, according to the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem. //Petra// AK
