Amman, Feb. 14 (Petra) – The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply has issued two separate tenders for purchasing quantities of wheat and barley.

In its statement, the ministry announced a tender for buying 100,000, or 120,000 tonnes of wheat, inviting interested parties to visit its Tenders Department to obtain a copy of the tender documents.

This process includes the terms and specifications, for a non-refundable fee of 650 Jordanian dinars, as the deadline for submitting bids is 2:00 PM next Tuesday.

The ministry also issued a tender for procuring the same quantities of barley, under the same terms and procedures, as the closing date for submitting bids is 1:30 PM next Wednesday.

To qualify, the ministry said bidders in both tenders must submit a copy of a valid business license, an updated commercial registration certified within the last 30 days prior to the bid opening date, and an active membership in chamber of commerce.
