12/ Inbound Remittances to Jordan Up to $4.472 Billion in 2025-CBJ
Amman, Feb. 15 -- Worker remittance inflows to Jordan increased by 4.5% in 2025 to $4.472 billion, while outbound remittances from the Kingdom rose by 14.2% to $1.7685 billion, according to preliminary data issued by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ). As for the source country of inbound remittances to Jordan, the data showed the United Arab Emirates ranked first, accounting for 21.8% of total inflows, followed by the United States at 18.9%, Saudi Arabia at 18.6%, and Qatar at 9.6%, while other countries made up 31.1%. For outward cash transfers, Egypt was the top destination, which received 40.6% of total outflows, followed by Bangladesh at 10.7%, the UAE at 5.7%, and the Philippines at 5.3%, while other destinations accounted for 37.7%. //Petra// AO
