Amman, Feb. 15 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II departed on Sunday on a visit to London.

During the visit, His Majesty, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, will meet with UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, to discuss developments in the region and ways to strengthen the partnership between Jordan and the United Kingdom.

The King is also due to chair a new round of the Aqaba Process initiative, which His Majesty launched in 2015.

His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
