  27/ Jordan’s Tourism Income Up 4.1% to $708.5 Mln in January-CBJ

Amman, Feb. 15 (Petra) -- Jordan's tourism income rose by 4.1% in January to reach $708.5 million, compared with $680.5 million in the same month of 2025, according to data released by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).

The CBJ's figures revealed the increase was driven by a 3.2% rise in the number of visitors.

The data showed revenue from European visitors surged by 56.9%, while income from Asian tourists increased by 11.6%. The rate generated from U.S. and Arab tourists went up by 16% and 3%, respectively.

In contrast, tourism income from other nationalities declined by 2%, while its rate from Jordanian expatriates fell by 3%.

The data also showed that spending on outbound tourism increased by 6.2% in January, reaching $196.3 million.
