35/ Jordanian field hospital in southern Gaza begins operations
Amman, February 15 (Petra) – The Jordanian Field Hospital in Southern Gaza/9 began receiving patients on Sunday, delivering medical and therapeutic services aimed at easing the suffering of residents amid the ongoing humanitarian and health challenges in Gaza. The hospital's commander said the deployment reflects Jordan's continued humanitarian commitment to the people of Gaza. Medical teams have commenced providing treatment and care, operating in line with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. He said that the hospital's personnel are carrying out their duties with dedication and professionalism to ensure the highest standards of medical service. The hospital director said specialised medical, nursing and support staff completed all technical and logistical preparations required to begin operations and are fully equipped to receive patients. The facility includes a range of specialised clinics and services, including general medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, dermatology, intensive care, general surgery, orthopedics, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, pediatric and neonatal surgery, plastic and burn surgery, maxillofacial surgery and a mobile prosthetic limb support unit. //Petra// AK
