Amman, February 16 (Petra) – The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) on Monday evacuated the 24th group of sick children from the Gaza Strip under the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative, implemented in accordance with Royal directives.

The group comprised 18 children accompanied by 33 family members. The children are set to receive specialised medical treatment at several hospitals across the Kingdom as part of Jordan's humanitarian and medical efforts to support the people of Gaza.

The medical evacuation programme, which began in March 2025, is carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation (WHO), in line with established medical and humanitarian standards.

The initiative reflects Jordan's continued commitment to providing urgent healthcare assistance and alleviating the suffering of civilians in Gaza.
