50/ Youth Ministry Unveils Institutional Strategy for 2026–2030

Amman, Feb 17 (Petra) - The Ministry of Youth announced its institutional strategy for 2026–2030, approved on Monday during a meeting of the Planning, Coordination, and Follow-up Committee.

According to a ministry statement on Tuesday, Director of Human Resources and Institutional Development Sahar Abu Hammour said the strategy is based on the Royal directives and visions emphasizing youth empowerment, enhancing their participation across economic, political, and public spheres, and strengthening principles of trust and accountability.

The strategy includes five main objectives, notably: strengthening the ministry’s role, building a comprehensive national youth work system, ensuring youth participation as active partners in reform processes, promoting equitable distribution of opportunities across governorates, and enhancing institutional readiness in governance, digital transformation, and performance management.

Abu Hammour added that the strategy was developed through a participatory methodology involving national context analysis, assessment of institutional capacities, stakeholder engagement, and future foresight, ensuring alignment with national economic and political reform pathways, public sector modernization, and sustainable development goals.

The next phase will see the preparation of phased and annual implementation plans derived from the strategy, featuring clear performance indicators and monitoring mechanisms to enhance transparency and accountability and deliver tangible, sustainable results for youth across Jordan.
