7/ Jordan–EU Investment Conference Set for April 21 at Dead Sea
Amman, Feb. 24 (Petra) – Under Royal patronage, the Jordan–EU Investment Conference will be held on April 21 at the Dead Sea, bringing together senior investors, decision-makers, and representatives of companies and financial and economic institutions from Jordan, Europe and the wider region. The conference will be attended by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and aims to strengthen economic partnerships, expand trade and investment cooperation between Jordan and the European Union, and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a strategic investment partner in the region. According to a statement issued Tuesday by the Ministry of Investment, the event will convene leading economic and executive figures, along with hundreds of investors, experts and representatives from the public and private sectors, to review strategic investment sectors in Jordan and the region, as well as key opportunities and available projects. The agenda includes specialized panel discussions and meetings between investors and companies to build partnerships across priority sectors, including energy, water, infrastructure, technology and telecommunications, and high-value industries. The conference is organized within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Jordan and the European Union and reflects joint efforts to promote investment and drive sustainable economic growth.
