Amman, Jan. 13 (Petra) -- The Minister of Awqaf (Endowment) and Islamic Affairs on Tuesday issued instructions to open all mosques across the Kingdom as temporary shelters in light of the prevailing weather conditions.

The minister also decided to use all vacant staff housing units, including those designated for Imams and Muezzins, as shelters for individuals stranded or affected by the ongoing weather conditions.
