  27/ U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Chief Visits Jordan’s Royal Naval Force

Amman, Jan. 13 (Petra) -- Commander of the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Vice Admiral Curt A. Renshaw on Tuesday visited the Royal Naval Force and Royal Boats Command, where he was received by the force commander.

The force commander briefed the delegation about covering operational, training and logistical activities, as well as key achievements related to strengthening maritime security in the region. Discussions addressed regional and international developments.

The delegation toured the Maritime Operations Center and reviewed naval radar systems used for daytime and nighttime surveillance, along with advanced devices based on artificial intelligence technologies for unmanned maritime systems at the Jordanian Remote Operations Center (JROC), which was recently inaugurated at the force command.

Renshaw praised the Royal Naval Force and Royal Boats for protecting Jordan's maritime borders and maintaining the security and safety of maritime navigation lanes across the region.

The visiting delegation signed the VIP guestbook at the conclusion of the visit.
