Amman, January 27 (Petra) The Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced on Tuesday that it is handling two old shells discovered by a contractor during excavation work in Irbid.

The PSD said the contractor placed the shells inside his vehicle and immediately informed the police. Specialised teams are currently handling the incident.

The PSD urged people who encounter or suspect the presence of such objects not to touch or move them, to keep a safe distance and call 911.
