The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in various fields, particularly parliamentary cooperation.

The talks were held on the sidelines of the 16th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), currently taking place in the Bahraini capital.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday, Al Sarayrah stressed the depth and strength of the fraternal relations linking the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Bahrain, which were established by the leaderships of the two countries.

He also expressed his appreciation to the Bahraini House of Representatives for its warm reception, hospitality, and outstanding organization of the APA conference.

For his part, Al Musallam reaffirmed his pride in the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and their continued development at all levels. He stressed the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation on various issues, particularly in parliamentary work.
