New York, Jan. 27 (Petra) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by more than 400 points ahead of today’s close, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq index rose by around 250 points.

Meanwhile, the S&P 500 index gained over 30 points.

US oil prices also climbed, with West Texas Intermediate rising more than $1 to reach $62.29 per barrel.
