Amman, July 14 (Petra) -- Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Tuesday offered condolences to the State of Qatar on the passing of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani during a visit to the Qatari Embassy in Amman.

Hassan was received by Qatar's Ambassador to Jordan, Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani.

The prime minister signed the condolence book, expressing his deepest sympathies to Qatar's leadership, government and people.
