20/ ACC's one-stop service center completes over 58,000 transactions in 2Q of 2026Â
Amman, July 14 (Petra) – Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC), through its one-stop service center located at its headquarters, completed 58,733 transactions for the commercial and service sectors and citizens during the second quarter of this year. The ACC's service center houses offices for the various government and judicial institutions, and the eFAWATEERcom office. According to the chamber's statistics, the completed transactions included 5,145 work permits, 14,800 document and power of attorney authentications and consular consultations, 7,876 transactions at the Department of Lands and Survey, and 11,400 transactions at the Income and Sales Tax Department. Meanwhile, the Notary Public Office processed 3,864 various transactions for issuing and authenticating powers of attorney, legal guarantees, and agreements. The Greater Amman Municipality's Professional Licensing Unit completed 300 transactions, while the Civil Status and Passports Department processed 4,624 transactions, encompassing the issuance and renewal of official documents. Additionally, the ACC said 10,724 e-payment transactions were processed through the "eFAWATEERcom" platform. ACC's Chairman Khalil Haj Tawfiq, emphasized that the facility has become a "practical model for public-private partnerships." By bringing together several government agencies in one location, he said the step saves time and effort for clients, enhances transaction efficiency, and contributes to improving the business environment in the capital Amman. In remarks to "Petra,"he said the chamber is committed to developing its services and expanding the range of government agencies operating within its center. This effort, he noted, aims to meet needs of the commercial and service sectors and investors, streamline procedures, and raise quality of services. He urged companies, commercial and service institutions, and citizens to take advantage of the center's available services, given its speed in processing transactions and the time and effort it saves.
