26/ Experience Magic of Jerash Before You Arrive: New Official Website Goes Live
Amman, July 14 (Petra) -- The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts launched its new official website, jerashfestival.jo, ahead of its 40th edition, providing a comprehensive digital platform that enables visitors to explore the festival program, purchase tickets online and access a wide range of information and media content. According to a statement issued by the festival's management Tuesday, the website is part of the festival's preparations for its 40th edition and reflects its vision of strengthening digital communication and offering an integrated online platform for festivalgoers, cultural enthusiasts, and local, Arab and international media. The bilingual website, available in Arabic and English, offers a mobile-friendly interface that allows visitors to browse the full festival program, explore participating artists and performing groups, purchase tickets online, and access multimedia content. The homepage also features a countdown to the festival's opening and direct links to the online ticketing platform. Users can search events by date or venue, view performance details, download the complete festival schedule, and use an interactive map of the ancient city to locate theaters, venues and festival facilities, helping them plan their visit. The platform also includes a comprehensive media center with press releases, photos and videos, providing journalists and media organizations with easy access to festival coverage and resources. Executive Director of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts Yazan Khudair said the launch of the new website is part of a broader development plan for the festival's 40th edition aimed at enhancing the visitor experience and expanding the festival's digital presence. He added that the website enables visitors to plan their trips, explore events, learn about participating artists and book tickets online, allowing the Jerash Festival experience to begin before visitors arrive at the venue. Khudair said the platform will be updated throughout the 40th edition with news, photographs, videos and other media materials, serving as a dynamic digital archive of the festival and strengthening engagement with audiences in Jordan and abroad. //Petra// AJ
