Beirut, July 14 (Petra) -- Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has condemned the repeated attacks targeting the Gulf Arab states, the latest of which was the attack against Saudi Arabia, as well as the targeting of Jordan.

In a statement, Aoun said these hostile acts represent clear attempts from multiple sources that target not only the security of the countries concerned, but also seek systematically to undermine the stability of the Gulf region and keep the entire region in a constant state of tension and concern, serving agendas that do not seek the interests of Arab peoples.

He added that, based on the longstanding historical and fraternal ties between Lebanon and its Arab brothers, Lebanon reaffirms its full official and popular solidarity with Saudi Arabia, all Gulf Arab states, and Jordan.

Aoun stressed that the security and stability of these countries are an integral part of Arab national security, adding that any violation of the sovereignty of Lebanon’s Arab partners also affects Lebanon and the broader Arab region.
