Amman, July 15 (Petra)-- Spain booked their place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final after defeating France 2-0 on Tuesday, setting up a title clash with the winner of the Argentina-England semi-final scheduled for Wednesday.

Spain took the lead in the 22nd minute when Mikel Oyarzabal converted a penalty. Pedro Porro then added a second goal in the 58th minute after receiving a pass from Dani Olmo.

France were unable to reduce the deficit as Spain held on to their lead until the final whistle, ending France’s run in the tournament at the semi-final stage.

Spain will await the outcome of the Argentina-England match to determine their opponent in the World Cup final.
