Ramtha, June 29 (Petra) -- Irbid National University and Türkiye’s Suleyman Demirel University on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in higher education, scientific research, and academic and cultural exchange.

Irbid National University President Majed Abu Zreig said the agreement would open avenues for exchanging expertise, implementing joint research projects, and benefiting from academic experiences.

International Relations Coordinator at Suleyman Demirel University Süleyman Bayrakcio?lu said the university is committed to activating the agreement’s provisions to build a successful model of academic cooperation between Jordanian and Turkish universities and generate added value for both institutions.

The memorandum outlines cooperation in several areas, including the exchange of faculty members, researchers and students, joint research projects, and the organization of conferences, seminars, lectures and training courses.

Under the MoU, the two universities would exchange publications and academic materials. It aims to strengthen the educational process, enhance research output and promote knowledge sharing between the two sides.
