45/ Culture ministry announces nationwide "Ramadan Evenings" program
Amman, March 2 (Petra) - The Ministry of Culture is continuing the implementation of the "Ramadan Evenings" program through a package of cultural and artistic activities to be held this coming Thursday and Friday evenings in several governorates, in line with the spiritual and social values of the holy month. According to a statement from the ministry on Monday, the program, which will be held in cultural centers in the governorates from 9:30 p.m. until 12:00 a.m., includes diverse activities that account for cultural diversity and the consolidation of positive values during the days of the holy month. The program includes entertainment segments dedicated to children and suitable for the Jordanian family that reflect the tolerant values of Ramadan, where cultural movement forms an integral part of the Ramadan scene in the Kingdom, as follows: In the Capital Governorate, the Royal Cultural Center will host on Thursday at 9:30 p.m. an artistic evening performed by the Salt Youth Association for Religious Chanting, alongside artist Mohammed Ramadan, while activities continue on Friday with a performance presented by the Anwar Al-Huda Religious Chanting band at 10:00 p.m. on the same stage. In Irbid Governorate, activities will be held at the Irbid Cultural Center, where an evening performance by the Anwar Al-Huda Religious Chanting band will be held on Thursday at 10:00 p.m. The evenings continue on Friday with an activity dedicated to families and children presented by artist Youssef Al-Natour at 9:30 p.m., followed by an artistic concert performed by artist Omar Al-Taani and artist Saad Hatibat at 10:15 p.m. In Mafraq Governorate, a family and child carnival presented by the Katakeet band for children will be held on Thursday in the Mafraq Municipality Hall at 9:30 p.m., while artist Zeid Al-Abdullah will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. On Friday, an artistic evening by chanter Mujahed Al-Khawaldeh will be held in the same hall at 10:00 p.m. In Balqa Governorate, at the Musa Al-Saket Cultural Center, an artistic evening by artist Mahmoud Sultan will be held on Thursday at 10:00 p.m. An artistic evening presented by the Salt Young Women’s Association for Religious Chanting will be held at the same center on Friday at 9:30 p.m. In Ma’an Governorate, an artistic evening by chanter Mujahed Al-Khawaldeh will be held at the Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II Cultural Center on Thursday at 9:30 p.m. On Friday, a family and child carnival presented by the "Art DJ Jordan" band will be held at the same center at 9:30 p.m., and the Ma’an Heritage band will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. In Tafileh Governorate, a family and child carnival by artist Farah Al-Sarayrah will be held at the Tafileh Reconstruction Corporation at 9:30 p.m., while artist Ali Hamada will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. On Friday, artist Zein Ali Al-Sawalqa will present a family and child carnival at the same institution at 9:30 p.m., while chanter Saleh Al-Khalayleh will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. In Jerash Governorate, a family and child carnival presented by artist Walid Al-Barmawi will be held on Thursday at 9:30 p.m. at the Jerash Cultural Center, while artist Raed Al-Sarhan will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. The same center will host a religious chanting evening by the Nagham Choir on Friday at 9:30 p.m. In Aqaba Governorate, a family and child carnival presented by the "Art DJ Jordan" band will be held at the Prince Rashid Club on Thursday at 9:30 p.m., and the Aqaba Maritime band will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. On Friday, an artistic evening by the Hashemite Chanting band will be held at the same center at 10:00 p.m. In Ajloun Governorate, a family and child carnival presented by artist Youssef Al-Natour will be held at the Ajloun Cultural Center on Thursday at 9:30 p.m., while artist Ghalib Khoury will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. On Friday at 10:00 p.m., an artistic evening by the Kiwan Brothers Religious Chanting band will be held at the same center. In Madaba Governorate, the Madaba Municipality Hall will host a family and child carnival presented by artist Raafat Al-Sawalqa on Thursday at 9:30 p.m., while artist Mohammed Al-Houri and artist Ghozlan will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. An artistic evening by the Anwar Al-Sham band from Syria will be held on Friday at 10:00 p.m. In Zarqa Governorate, an artistic evening by the Hashemite Chanting band will be held on Thursday at 9:30 p.m. at the King Abdullah II Cultural Center. The same center will host a family and child carnival presented by artist Raafat Al-Sawalqa on Friday at 9:30 p.m., while artist Salim Al-Ayasrah will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. In Karak Governorate, the Prince Hassan Cultural Center will host a chanting ceremony performed by the "Anwar Al-Sham" band from Syria on Thursday at 10:00 p.m. On Friday at 9:30 p.m., a family and child carnival presented by artist Farah Al-Sarayrah will be held at the same center, and artist Fadi Raafat will present an artistic evening at 10:15 p.m. The program comes within the ministry’s orientation to distribute cultural activities across various governorates, allowing the public to participate in Ramadan activities that enhance the presence of culture in public life. //Petra// AF
