Baghdad, March 3 (Petra) -- Iraqi army forces announced that they had shot down a drone that attempted to approach Abu Ghraib prison, west of Baghdad.

According to a statement by the Iraqi Security Media Cell, Iraqi air defenses engaged the drone and brought it down after it tried to approach the vicinity of Abu Ghraib prison, one of the largest prisons in Iraq, located west of Baghdad, confirming that no significant breaches were recorded.
