17/ Foreign ministry follows up on Jordanian injured by shrapnel in UAE's Fujairah
Amman, March 14 (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is following up on a Jordanian citizen who was injured by shrapnel Saturday in Fujairah, during Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Ministry spokesperson Fouad Majali said the Consul General in Dubai contacted the citizen to check on his condition and offer any necessary assistance. He added that the citizen sustained minor injuries, his condition is stable, and he has been discharged from hospital. The Ministry condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Jordan, the UAE and other Arab states. It affirmed Jordan's solidarity and full support for the UAE and other Arab countries, as well as its backing for all measures taken to safeguard their security, stability and the safety of their citizens. The Ministry expressed its appreciation to the UAE for the care and attention provided to Jordanian citizens residing there, including the assistance extended to those injured as a result of the attacks. The Ministry urged Jordanians abroad to exercise caution and adhere to the instructions issued by the authorities in their host countries.
