Amman, March 22 (Petra)-- Jordan on Sunday expressed its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the sisterly State of Qatar and the Republic of Türkiye following the deaths of six personnel.

The victims included members of the Qatari Armed Forces, the joint Qatari-Turkish forces, and Turkish civilian collaborators, who were killed when a helicopter crashed into Qatari territorial waters after experiencing a technical malfunction during a routine mission.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs affirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with the governments and peoples of Qatar and Türkiye in the wake of this tragic incident.

The ministry also extended its sincere condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims.
