Amman, March 23 (Petra)-- Jordan Post Company has warned citizens about fraudulent text messages and emails falsely claiming to be from the company, urging recipients to remain vigilant and avoid sharing personal information. In a statement issued Mondayˇ the company said the fake messages often carrying the Jordan Post logo inform recipients of incomplete delivery details, failed shipment attempts due to missing addresses, or request updates to personal information. It added that payments are only processed through the official "eFawateercom" system or upon delivery. The company confirmed it has filed reports with the Cybercrime Unit at the Public Security Directorate to trace the source of these messages, whether originating from inside or outside Jordan.
