Amman, March 26 (Petra) – The Higher Education Council (HEC), chaired by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahafzeh, decided to approve measures to hold the last session of the Shamel exam, the annual comprehensive final exam for community college students, through Al Balqa Applied University (BAU).

In its meeting on Thursday, the HEC said this last session will take place in the second half of July 2026 for students, who have not yet exhausted their attempts to pass the exam, in accordance with the Shamel regulations currently in effect at the university.
