Amman, Mar. 26 (Petra)-- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi received a phone call, on Thursday, from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Along with the risky escalation in the region and the chances for reestablishing security and stability, the two ministers talked about a number of bilateral matters.

The attacks by Iran on the Kingdom and other Arab and Islamic nations were denounced by Rubio.

Safadi stressed the value of Jordanian-American ties and the ongoing initiatives to strengthen them. Rubio praised the Kingdom's contribution to regional security and stability.
