7/ 2 journalists, 1 Lebanese soldier killed in Israeli airstrikes in South Lebanon
Beirut, March 28 (Petra) – At least two Lebanese journalists were killed and several others wounded on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a vehicle in the city of Jezzine in southern Lebanon. A Lebanese source told Petra that ambulance crews transferred the wounded to nearby hospitals for treatment, as Israeli attacks continued in other areas in the south. The source also said a Lebanese army soldier was killed in an airstrike in the Deir Zahrani area in the Nabatieh district. Another air raid struck a vehicle of the Health Authority on the Qaqait al-Jisr road in Nabatieh, unjuring several people, who were taken to hospitals, it said. Injuries were also reported after Israeli aircraft struck an ambulance transporting wounded people from a previous airstrike on the village of Kufr Sir, the source said. //Petra//SS
