10/ Four Palestinians Wounded by Israeli Fire During West Bank Raids; Settler Attacks Injure Two More
Amman, May 1 (Petra)-- Four Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation gunfire on Friday during raids carried out by Israeli forces in several areas across the occupied West Bank. According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, citing medical sources, three Palestinians were shot by Israeli forces in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem. Another Palestinian was wounded by live fire, while dozens suffered from tear gas inhalation during an Israeli raid on the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah. In a separate incident, two Palestinians sustained various injuries after a group of Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian property east of Tubas, amid an escalation in settler violence linked to ongoing settlement expansion in the West Bank. Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers assaulted a young man near the village of Deir Sharaf, west of Nablus. The director of the Nablus Emergency and Ambulance Center, Emad Ahmad, said that medical teams treated a 23-year-old man who was severely beaten by Israeli soldiers while passing through the Deir Sharaf military checkpoint. He was later transferred to a hospital for treatment. //Petra// MF
