5/ 400 Jordanian female e-athletes competed in FET26 championship-JEF
Amman, May 2 (Petra) - His Royal Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal, President of the Jordanian Esports Federation (JEF), on Friday inaugurated the second edition of the 2026 Female Esports Tournament (FET26) in Amman. The event, held at the King Hussein Business Park at Gaming Dome, saw wide participation from approximately 400 Jordanian female players. According to a JEF statement, the athletes competed in 6 international games, divided into 5 individual competitions and one 2v2 team clash. The games included FC 26, Valorant, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Tekken 8, and eFootball, amid an enthusiastic atmosphere and advanced technical organization. The top 3 places in each game were crowned, as the total prizes amounted to JD2,100, in a step that reflects the federation’s efforts to enhance the presence of women in the esports sector. The prizes also aimed to enable female players to develop their skills and compete at regional and international levels, and consolidate Jordan’s position as a "promising center in this growing field." //Petra// AG
