Cairo, May 24 (Petra) -- President of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed Al Yamahi, extended his congratulations to Jordan, its King, government, parliament, and people, on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.

Al Yamahi praised Jordan’s achievements across various fields under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, underscoring the Kingdom’s significant role in supporting Arab joint action, fostering Arab solidarity, and advocating for key Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian cause.

He also conveyed his wishes for Jordan to continue enjoying security, stability, and progress, commending its sustained development efforts and constructive role in strengthening Arab cooperation. He further wished the Jordanian people continued prosperity and well-being.
