43/ Ajloun creates Kingdom's largest ground mural to mark 80th Independence Day

Amman, May 24 (Petrra) -- The Greater Ajloun Municipality has completed the first and largest national ground mural of its kind in the Kingdom, spanning an area of 750 square meters. The artwork was specifically designed to be clearly visible from above by visitors touring the governorate via the cable car.

According to a statement issued by the municipality, the mural features a distinctive geometric design spread across the ground, showcasing a large, extended Jordanian flag topped with the number 80 in royal green to symbolize eighty years of independence. The design is flanked by the years 1946 and 2026, and incorporates the royal emblem alongside carefully scripted expressions of pride. The entire perimeter of the mural is bordered by a design inspired by the red and white colors of the traditional Jordanian Shemagh, delivering a striking visual display that blends with the surrounding Ajloun mountains and the historic Ajloun Castle visible on the horizon.

The statement added that this exceptional mural stands out as a prominent feature of the extensive field preparations carried out by the municipality to decorate streets, squares, and buildings with Jordanian flags and celebratory banners. These aesthetic additions have brought an atmosphere of joy and pride across the entire governorate in celebration of the Kingdom's 80th Independence Day.

On this cherished occasion, the people of Ajloun and all Jordanians reflect on the journey of comprehensive building, modernization, and development led by the Hashemite leadership since the founding of the state to the present day, reaffirming their commitment to continued dedication and progress under the Hashemite leadership for a brighter and more accomplished future.
