Amman, May 26 (Petra) -- The Northern Military Zone on Monday foiled an infiltration attempt by an individual along one of its border fronts within its area of responsibility.

The person attempted to cross the border illegally, prompting military personnel to apply the rules of engagement and apprehend the suspect.

The individual was subsequently handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
